In Search of THE ANSWER - Riddle or Reality?
I am not going to tell you I found THE ANSWER. I haven’t.
I don’t think that we ever find THE ANSWER …. Or want to? If we do it is the end game. Done. Finished. End of Story. No where else to go. Now what?
I think an answer is alway moving. It is in the search for an answer or answers that get us out of bed in the morning. It is the fuel that stirs the heart in relationships and our minds in business, or the consciousness in our personal growth.
Answers are as elusive and intangible as they are tangible, forever evolving and transforming as the circumstances around us keep changing. It is neither predictable any more than the weather is or as tangible as the air we breathe. It is as illusive as the shadows at night.
So where is the satisfaction in looking for any answer? Why search for any answer if it is in a constant state of motion and always changing?
Is it that each answer just might be THE ANSWER? Or is it that we are Ok with an answer that moved the needle just a bit?
The many achievable answers that we arrive at in life are steps that lead us in search of the next answer. The new discovery then begs a question requiring another answer and so on.
This reality is not to despair. Your search is linear and not circular. One answer leads to another and each time there is this stimulation that comes from arriving at a place where a solution has moved you forward.
Your answer has now motivated you to go further and deeper in discovering the next move. The next search. As long as there are questions …. There will always be a need for an answer!
THE ANSWER ….. Therefore, is that there is no FINAL ANSWER. There is the satisfaction that the many answers you come up with will push you to keep looking and discovering for your truth at any given moment in time.
Understand though the conundrum; that it is only in the search for THE ANSWER ( illusive as it is ), that while we are compelled to search for IT … we make a multitude of discovers along the way. So keep looking.
Enjoy the ride.
